By Deisy

The hour show I performed last May 5, 2012, was about an immigrant family who just got be reunited with their children after 10 years who were separated since their children decided to come to the USA. During the interview there were many comments, and experiences the Aboleda’s family mentioned, such as things you need to keep in mind when you decide to come to the USA and fight for their American dream. They suggested that immigrate to another country is an important decision and you need to put many things in a balance and realize that you need to discuss your decision with your love ones and you have to be careful because you need to keep in mind all pros and cons about you and your family. Moreover, this family suggested that you need to analyze all obstacles you will find such as the barrier f the language, new country, and new culture. After that, you need to fix goals before to leave your love ones, keeping in mind it can bring a lot of inconvenient during your journey to another country. Also, you will need to communicate with your family frequently and let them know what are you doing and what they are doing. Finally, the last thing the Arboleda’s Family said was: “the only thing you need to keep in mind is LOVE is the key to keep a family reunited. And the last message was if  you organize and realize that obstacles are part of life you will be fine.
